KCOG Missions
We take an active interest in missions both in this country and abroad. As a church we help them with regular financial help and for specific needs as they arise. Below are details of the missions we support.
Corabia FoundationBob & Edith McDonaldThe foundation is based at Casa Sperantei (House of Hope) in the village of Sardu near Cluj-Napoca in northwest Romania.
The main focus of the work of the mission has always been to bring the good news of salvation to the children and teens of “Zona Sanpaul”, an area of six villages including Sardu. Click here for more details

WEC InternationalJim & Mrjam McWhinnieJim & Mirjam McWhinnie work with WEC International. They are part of a team of 16 who work in the WEC Swiss Base in Ruti, south of Zurich.
WEC in Switzerland works with God’s people to motivate, send and support workers for worldwide service for Jesus. At present there are 100 Swiss WECers active in Europe, America, Africa and Asia. |
Operation Christmas ChildOperation Christmas Child is an initiative of Samaritan's Purse. It's mission is to show God’s love to children in need around the world, and together with the local church worldwide, to share the good news of Jesus Christ. Since 1990, more than 157 million children in over 160 countries have experienced God’s love through the power of simple shoebox packed with gifts from Operation Christmas Child.
KCOG has been involved in collecting shoeboxes for a number of years and has recently become an official Drop-off Location during National Collection Week Click here for more details about OCC in 2021. Teen ChallengeWhitchester House in the Scottish BordersTeen Challenge UK is a registered charity and operates nationally to help young people who have developed life controlling problems, especially drug and alcohol addictions, and also to offer preventative help to those who may be in danger of doing so.
