Outreach Europe

September 2016 news from
Ken and Jocelyn Acheson

Mission Trip to Poland

During the summer months we had the opportunity of ministering every week in different French-speaking Swiss Churches. As always, God blessed His Word and we rejoiced as the Gospel Message brought peace, comfort and hope to His People.

On Thursday morning, 29 September (DV) we head east - across Switzerland, through Germany, by-passing the historical cities of Ulm, Nürnberg, Chemnitz and Dresden - to eventually cross the Polish border at the symbolic and historical city Görlitz. After the Second World War, Gorlitz was divided to form two cities - Görlitz in Germany and Zgorzelec in Poland..!

This will be our 27th missionary trip to Poland. Meetings will be held in and around the city of Glogow in the west of the country. Then we drive east to the town of Wysowa situated near the Ukrainian border, celebrated in Poland for its health-spas and sanatoriums..! Preaching to the Poles is always a privilege and a challenge sharing the truth of God's Eternal Word with Saints and Sinners alike..!

PLEASE PRAY ...  That this 'Outreach to Poland' will reap fruit for eternity.  That we may have a fresh anointing on our lives and ministry.
That the Lord will protect us during our travels - by car. (Ps.121/8)

THANKS - for all your help in the Gospel..! Your prayerful interest in the work of 'Outreach Europe’ is a continual source of encouragement. Continually we give thanks to our loving Heavenly Father for His grace and mercy and for the daily blessings He freely gives - from His bountiful supply..!

Thanks too for having remembered Jocelyne in your prayers. She has made an excellent recovery since the delicate 'macular-hole' operation in May, but as the eye surgeon predicted, since the operation a cataract has rapidly developed. In November, she will undergo further surgery to remove the cataract.

Life is full of surprises - some good, some not so good - but Romans 8/28 is the key to successful living..!

May God bless you abundantly.

Yours in the Great Love of Jesus our Lord and Saviour,

Ken and Jocelyne.
